SMS & Mobile Messaging Terms

By providing your mobile phone number and opting in to receive text messages from Guest Ban, you agree to our SMS terms and conditions:

• • Program Description: Guest Ban sends SMS text messages to opted-in users regarding account notifications, two-factor authentication (2FA) security codes, system alerts, hardware status updates, subscription service reminders, and customer care responses.   
  • Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your account activity, system settings, and interaction with our services. Recurring messages may be sent.
  • Fee Disclosure: Message and data rates may apply. Please consult your mobile service carrier for details regarding your text messaging plan and associated costs.
  • Opt-Out Instructions: You can opt out of receiving SMS text messages at any time. To stop receiving text messages from us, text STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT to any text message you receive from us. After texting STOP, you will receive one final confirmation message stating that you have been unsubscribed, and no further SMS messages will be sent to your number.
  • Customer Care & Support: If you are experiencing issues with our messaging program or require assistance, reply HELP to any text message you receive from us. You can also reach our support team directly by emailing support@guestban.com or calling (425) 484-0915.
  • Privacy & Data Protection: We value your privacy. We will never share, sell, rent, or trade your mobile phone number, personal information, or SMS opt-in consent data to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. To access some of our Services, you will need to register for a Guest Ban account. The following guidelines apply:

  • Accurate Information: You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate personal and business information. Providing false information or impersonating another person or company is strictly forbidden.
  • Account Responsibility: You are entirely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you share an account with others, the individual whose billing information is attached to the account is ultimately responsible for all transactions and activities. If you register as a business entity, you personally guarantee that you have the authority to bind the business to these Terms. Accounts are non-transferable.
  • Security: Keeping your account credentials and password secure is critical; you assume full liability for any unauthorized access resulting from compromised credentials.

Payment & Subscriptions

• • Subscription Terms: The Service is provided on a subscription basis. All standard software updates are included. Your subscription billing cycle begins on the date of your first payment.
  • Free Trial: We offer a 14-day free trial with no purchase necessary. To utilize automated ID checking features, a compatible ID scanner must be purchased.
  • Plan Adjustments: To upgrade or downgrade your subscription, please log into your Guest Ban account profile. Any plan upgrade or downgrade will take effect and be billed at the new rate during the following billing cycle. No prorated refunds or credits will be applied for downgrades made mid-cycle.
  • Impact of Downgrading: Downgrading your Service plan may result in the loss of features, functionality, or data capacity. We disclaim all liability for any such loss.
  • Taxes: All fees are exclusive of all taxes, levies, or duties imposed by taxing authorities, and you are solely responsible for the payment of all such charges.
  • Refund Policy: We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on hardware purchases. We do not process refunds for subscription software services.
  • Non-Payment: If you fail to pay any sums owed to us when due, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your Services until full payment is received.

Cancellation and Termination

You are solely responsible for properly canceling your account in a timely manner. Cancellation requests submitted via email or phone are not considered official cancellations. You may cancel your subscription at any time directly through your online account portal.

If you cancel the Service before the end of your current paid billing period, your cancellation will take effect immediately, but you will retain access to the Services until the end of that billing period. The Service will be fully terminated at the end of the paid cycle.

Disclaimer of Liability

The material displayed on this Website is provided without any guarantees, conditions, or warranties as to its accuracy. Unless expressly stated to the contrary, to the fullest extent permitted by law, Guest Ban and its suppliers, content providers, and advertisers hereby expressly exclude all conditions, warranties, and other terms which might otherwise be implied by statute, common law, or the law of equity.

So far as possible, where any clause/sub-clause or part of a clause/sub-clause can be severed to render the remaining part valid, the clause shall be interpreted accordingly. Alternatively, you agree that the clause shall be rectified and interpreted in such a way that closely resembles the original meaning of the clause/sub-clause as is permitted by law.

Entire Agreement

The above Terms of Service constitute the entire agreement of the parties and supersede any and all preceding and contemporaneous agreements between you and Guest Ban. Any waiver of any provision of the Terms of Service will be effective only if in writing and signed by an authorized Director of Guest Ban.
